  6. I was 110kg, I now weigh 72kg – so a total weight loss so far of approx 86 pounds over about 11 months. My typical week goes like this – Sunday (Legs/cardio) 2000 Cal, Monday 1400 Cal, Tuesday (cardio) 1400 Cal, Wednesday (Chest/Cardio) 1650 Cal, Thursday (Cardio) 1400 Cal, Friday (Shoulders/Traps/Cardio) 1650 Cal, Saturday (Back/Biceps/Abs/Cardio), My cheat day is somewhere around 4000 Calories. Every day I get atleast 1gram of Protein per pound of my body weight, so about 160g, hope this helps

Try having a low cal day of say 1400 then go up to 1800 the next day so that your average is actually more like 1600, add some more cardio to your routine and you will end up being in more of a caloric deficit. Whether you are doing high intensity training for shorter periods or whether you do slower pace cardio for longer periods, at the end of the day it all comes down to the total calories burned versus the amount that you are eating.

  15. Simple man, your body since it has shed the 50 pounds now burns less calories on a daily basis, you need to reduce your cal intake or burn more calories

    Ive experienced a similar situation, I have lost approx 85 pounds, my weight loss slowed down as I lost more weight. I have also been tracking my calories, and to keep loosing the weight I have been adding more cardio to my routine to help increase calories burned, this allowed me to continue to loose weight at a steady rate, hope this helps!

  17. If yout meals are high on protein you shouldn’t feel hungry. I myself eat an egg between meals. One egg can keep me going for 1,5-2 hours :)

  23. If you know daily calories needed to gain one pound per month, and 25% of those calories are protein, what percent of the remaining calories should be devoted to carbs, and what percent devoted to fats?

    @IAmDeftone You may have to implement some cardio and maybe decrease calories by 100 and see if you lose weight and if so keep at that 100 calorie deficit and if not decrease calories by a 100 again and experiment , dont go too low of a calorie deficit though, hope this helps!

  45. Hey, I was wondering if you can help me out with something. I’ve been spending crazy money on whey protein powders and all of them have given me extreme gas to the point where I’d have to throw it out or give it away. Do you know why this happens and is there any powder you’d be able to recommend? Anyone’s help would be greatly appreciated.

  47. is it really cheaper to buy whole eggs then take out the yolk? I looked up the # of tblspn of eggwhite per egg and compared to serving sizes in the carton. according to my calculation it’s cheaper to buy the liquid whites which equals approx. 30 eggs. @ walmart the whites I get are about$4 and the eggs are around $2 for 12, so you’ll need 2.5 doz. which puts u over $4. please correct me/show figures/math. thanks.
