Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Chicken Cordon Bleu (IF)

** Recipe included in my new low carb, gluten free cookbook, Low Carbing Among Friends. Please check it out at our website @ ** In partnership with FaveDiets ( http ) recipe site, I wanted to release what I was experimenting this week in the kitchen. I had a bunch of extra chicken breasts, which are notoriously dry and flavorless, and I was trying to find a way to liven them up. I had some ranch dressing and cheese, and I wanted to find a good way to combine them a bit fancier than just cheese on top of chicken like a cheeseburger. I got the idea of stuffing the chicken from many videos on stuffing things like pork chops. It worked better than I could have hoped. *Join the Facebook page – * My Low Carb Blog – Ingredients 3 Chicken Breasts 3 oz Swiss Cheese 4 oz Smoked Ham, deli-sliced 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing 3 tbsp Broccoli Slaw Salt / Pepper to taste Makes 3 servings Nutrition Facts per Serving): 570 Calories, 29g Fat, 3.4g Carbs (1g Fiber) , 75g Protein For more free healthy recipes, cooking tips and tutorials go to (IF) = Induction Friendly

  1. Looks delish! You are going to have an unhappy accident with that full box of salt one day ….get yourself a teensy bowl and spinkle some in from there. Thanks for the upload!

  2. Broccoli slaw is finely sliced or chopped Broccoli stems – often mixed with carrots as well. It’s main purpose is to make a coleslaw like except with Broccoli instead of cabbage.

  3. I try to put into the ingredients at the end and the video description how many servings it is. “Makes 3 servings

  8. This looks Amazing!! thinkin of subbing the broccoli slaw for some fresh chopped spinach…

  9. I am glad you and your friends liked it.

  10. OMG! It’s is now a staple in our diet!! I made it exactly to your recipe and the recipe is spread out to mu friends who are on low carb diets. Totally delish!

  11. That is the great thing about this recipe. It is only limited by your imagination and ingredients. The only reason I settled upon the ones I used was because I wanted to make something someone would recognize and encourage their inspiration to take them elsewhere. Yours sound delicious!

  12. Hey, Kent, Tried to reply to your reply, but YouTube is screwing up; anyway, made 7 of these but took some liberties: Used prosciutto ($24 a lb! fortunately only needed 7 shaved slices) & peppers rather than ham & broccoli, and baked it b/c I had to bake my breakfast casserole and wanted to use the oven heat for two dishes. Not as brown as yours, but still looks & smells amazing. Now I’ll freeze them individually & reheat as needed. Thanks!

  13. The 12 slices of bacon disappeared!!! great vid.

  14. How fortuitous was that timing. :-D

I am glad I could make your start easier.

  15. Perfect! I just took a big tray of boneless, skinless chicken breasts out of the freezer today and planned on cooking them tomorrow, but wasn’t sure how to do it. This is perfect, because I begin Induction next Thursday!

  16. How did it turn out for you?

  17. Congrats on your success 20 pounds in 5 weeks is great. It is working on these recipes and finding out I could eat better at home (cheaper and with little extra work) than going out keeps me going. Plus when it looks as good as this dish turned out, it makes my creative side happy too. :-)
