How To Cook Millet

Millet has a nutty flavor and provides good amounts of iron, calcium, potassium, and the B vitamins. Typically cheaper than rice, millet is available at most health food stores. This recipe uses one cup of millet and two cups of water. It will serve 2-4 people.     You can eat it as “rice” however, it does not have a very low GI.

  5. yeah, millet used to be the main grain of america til wheat came along…definitely part of a healthy anti-cancer diet with plenty of B17…
