  1. Best damn video for adopting a plant-based diet I’ve seen on youtube!!
The part about breast cancer is (27mins into) is worth all the breast screenings ever!!

  2. This man is brilliant. Please stop mentioning Dr Gregor and Oprah in the same sentence. It diminishes his credibility. He’s no Dr Oz.

  3. I cannot believe that many of these lectures have less than 10,000 views.

  4. It’s a good thing there are a few “dislikes”. What would this world be without any nuts?

  5. thank you

  6. I would love this in HD. It’s hard to follow the charts and the written stuff. Otherwise – good stuff!

  7. Yay Oprah and Dr. Greger on taking on the “beast”!

  8. Thanks for the info. This is an excellent video.

  10. You should rename the title with the year, to avoid confusion

  11. @becksbunny1990 thanks for posting that it doesn’t actually start til 7:02, can’t believe the introductions are so long on these videos…

  12. Had.

  13. It’s the high cholesterol that was doing the damage. You have heart disease, dude.

  14. Lost me in all the noise on antioxidants. There’s a point of diminishing returns, he should cut a lot of the gibberish and minutia of the antioxidant portion out and he’ll have a much improved presentation.

  15. A lot.

  16. eww…just kidding good for you. keep researching

  17. He got the eggs and stool thing right. 2 months on the vegan diet and what it has done to my dumps alone has been worth it! Heart feels better too. Before April I ate 3-7 eggs a day. Chest pains and heartburn went away within a 5 days of quitting and they never returned. Didn’t think 27 year-olds should be struggling to poop while feeling daily chest tightness and burning.

  18. Many studies have shown benefits from consuming antioxidant rich foods, but there are hundreds of different antioxidants in plant foods and only a few major ones like Vitamin C have daily requirements established. In addition, some studies have shown that the same benefit is not seen when some some anti-oxidants like Vitamin A are consumed as supplements rather than in food. Bottom line, eat lots of whole foods!

  19. so what are our anti-oxidant need?

  20. excellent presentation

  21. “A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”

  22. dont appreciate the disinformation presented by vegan ideologues.

  23. Talk starts at 7:02
