  1. My old coach is in his 40′s and runs the marathon in about 2.40 so you’ll manage it easily Shay with the right training.

    I was just poking fun at the fact that so many people range from “can’t stand it” to “I can tolerate it, but definitely not while I am exercising”. Definitely not “I love it” :P

  7. It’s actually his twin brother and they switched places so Mummytard can compare what she prefers, Fittard or Fattard. He uses the name Shay as part of the experiment.

    It was only meant to be a week long thing but it’s been going on for a while and it’s getting to be a bit of a controversy around Youtube that Fattard hasn’t been brought back. Apparently Fattard has to sleep in the Rocktops trailer and only gets to use the inside toilet for poos.

  10. What’s your strategy for knowing you’ve drank 8 cups?

  11. You have to be able to run a marathon in about 3 hours 20 some minutes if you’re in your 30s. And you should be doing about 70 mi a week. My dad qualified for Boston numerous times. That’s what he recommends.

  13. Hey guys today is the month before my birthday (October 1st) Before October 1st my goal is to hit 250 subscribers. I set one september 1st every year to try to achieve it and to be another thing to feel good about myself on my birthday. I need you guys to help me right now and thumbs up this comment and subscribe. I have never achieved one of the goals on my birthday but i only get 1 chance a year and i want this to be the year!! Come on guys help me out. I cant do it without yall. – xBW8

  18. Shay you should think about coming to Canada for the Ottawa Marathon one of the biggest marathon in Canada right here in the capital. It’s also a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. I would run a full with you if you would come here.

  19. Shay have you tried speed or hill training. There are techniques out there for improving you speed and indurance. I haven’t done any yet but I have read about them and they are very good from what I have heard. Try looking into that.

Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and has a Wonderful plan for you life? i have a real quick but important question to ask you, if you were to die today do you no for sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that you’d go to heaven ? if not say this with your heart and lips out loud pray, Jesus, forgive me of my sin,save me, be my Lord,U have come in the flesh,died & rose for me,Jesus is my Lord.

  21. Great vid shay. I’ve got a CPAT to get ready for and the Summerlin half marathon next April. GOAL 1.. Get my 4 mile run that I did this morning up to 10 miles by the end of sept. Goal 2.. I did one of those push up apps and got up to 60.. I want to be back at 60 by the end of the month. Goal 3.. No soda in September. GOD BLESS. Check out scennylloyd on the youtubes

I also started focusing in more quality food rather than quantity, also started studying for nutritionist and let me tell you that your story is inspiring, through nutrition I learn to make healthier choices, don’t drink milk anymore, in fact nothing that comes from dairy and after that I noticed my skin change also don’t get sick often like I used to, I only eat meat once a week and eat more greens and fruit and of course lots of water :) thanks for encouraging us to find a healthier lifestyle

  26. Jeez! I am actually crying now, thanks so much for sharing this story! I really like that you let your emotions come through, it felt really real and like you really believe in what you are saying. I am in a place right now where (for many reasons) I am depressed and have withdrawn from life and I keep saying “I’ll be better tomorrow”. This has given me so much hope, and now I’ve said “I’ll be better NOW!” :) Thank you.

I am happy with myself..I am healthy..and I have a wonderful husband and 20yr old son that I love more than anything..if it was not for them I would have never climbed out of my hole..I am so glad you climed out of your hole at a young will make all the difference in the world in the years to come..I am very proud of you..I know how hard it can be..ok..I’ll stop you are beautiful! xoxo ;)

Thank you for sharing this..I was also a dancer and did gynmastics..I went on to teach dance and gym..but when my mother life stoped for a very long time..I am not in that place anymore..but when I was..I gained quite a few pounds (I’m 4’11″)there came a time when I HAD to let all the depression go..I’m almost 40yrs body hurts everywhere from all the yrs of dance and gym..but I am much healther now..I know I’ll never be like I was when I was younger..but I am ok with that.cont..

  32. dear Tati, thank you so much for sharing your story with use. Your story really touched me, I cried because I see my self in this position right now. I had a baby in 2010, and ever sins then I bin making that as my excuse. I am really unhappy with my body right now, and your video made me realize that all this time I was just making up excuses and not changing any of my bad eating habits. I don’t know how long it will take me to lose my weight, but starting to day im cutting out all my SWEETS.

I lost a lot of weight last yr….but now I find there are critics at every size and shape, I’m lately finding it hard to stay motivated to stay fit and healthy when it sometimes gets me more negativity than being heavy …thanks for this video I had kinda reached a what’s the point spot and was starting to really let myself slide and start eating crap again and not exercise u reminded me that being healthy FEELS good and I don’t have to feel sluggish and moody and then the haters won’t get to

  45. Very inspiring. Although it doesn’t apply to me, I’m struggling with gaining weight @ the age of 21. I’m 95lbs and trying to get to 100! :) I can do thissss!
